The Giant Sleepover, the world's biggest simultaneous sleepover is held each year to build on the world record set previously by the event. The Giant Sleepover holds the World Records for the 'largest simultaneous sleepover' and the 'largest simultaneous teeth brushing'.
Each year The Boys' Brigade partners with the Giant Sleepover to enable BB Companies to part of this fantastic event. Find out how your Company can get involved in the next sleepover!
Giant Sleepover in 2010
On Saturday 19th June 2010 - we want children from all of over the UK to participate in The Giant Sleepover. BB Companies can take part in this event with Junior Section, Company Section and Senior members.
The Giant sleepover is world record breaking event, having broken its own record several times, so don't miss out on this year's event.
To count as a Sleepover - lights must be out for at least 7 hours and you must be sleeping somewhere other than your own bed, like... in a tent, in your church, or other local venue, or at one of the special sleepover venues.
You don't have to fundraise, but it would be great it if you did. You might like to simply get sponsored for sleeping over or organise sponsored events on the night - idea's will be sent out to groups that register nearer the time.
Very Special Sleepovers! You could end up spending the night in a dungeon, castle or surrounded by fishy friends in an aquarium. We've got a list of Special Sleepover venues available - you'll need to keep an eye on the website to find out more and then register your group for the one that catches your eye.
If your Company has not taken part previously, then give it a go in 2010, it's an excellent event and will certainly be something special for those taking part!

Please Note: Brigade Regulations apply, and all events although registered with 'The Giant Sleepover' MUST be registered with your regional BB Headquarters. BB Regulations DO NOT permit Anchor Boys to take part in overnight activities. For more details on Brigade Regulations applying to Overnight experiences please call your regional headquarters or check the the Officers Handbook or Safety Handbook.
